About
I’m a creative strategist with nearly 10 years’ experience in marketing, writing, and brand development. Throughout my career, I’ve been lucky to work in a variety of roles that have tapped into my expertise as a communicator, as well as my passion for strategic thinking — from news reporting to literary analysis, press releases to product launches, campaign frameworks to college-level teaching.
While at the Press Office of the French Embassy, I saw firsthand the critical role that diplomacy and relationship-building plays in moving work forward. The term cross-functional collaboration took on a whole new meaning while working at the world’s largest museum, education, and research complex, The Smithsonian Institution. As a project manager at a boutique strategic consulting firm, Context Partners, I developed a keen sense of resourcefulness and thought leadership. Between each role, I’ve also taken on small projects in freelance writing and creative consulting for online publications, non-profit organizations, and small female-owned businesses.
Outside of work, I'm usually ticking off a new location in 1000 Places to See Before You Die (most recently: Chicago, Illinois), sweating with Cody Rigsby on my Peloton, or spending time outdoors with my husband and our new puppy.
